VIEWING THE SALE
Every auction has a viewing period to allow potential bidders
to inspect the items for sale. There are 5½ hours of viewing time prior to the auction sale.
Viewing takes place the day before the sale from 12 noon until 4pm, and again from 9.30am until 11am the day of the sale.
Items are 'SOLD AS SEEN', it is therefore important that you inspect all the items of interest before the sale starts. We do not, due to the time involved, show each individual item as they are being sold. If your not sure about a lot - Do NOT bid.
The catalogue has a lot number and a brief description of each lot, the description is only a guide and should not be taken as definitive, amendments will often be read out by the auctioneer during the sale.
Each item has a lot ticket, this shows the date of the sale,
the lot number and, in most cases, a description of the lot.
Vehicles are viewed in the same way as all other lots, you can inspect the interior, engine and start the vehicle but NOT move it. Any documents we have will also be available for inspection.
Finally, Caveat Emptor - 'Let the buyer beware' - once the hammer falls you have made a contract with the auctioneer for the lot, this cannot then be retracted - better to have a good look first!
Always view more than one similar item, you may not be successful
with your first bid.
Make a note of the maximum you wish to pay, this will help you when bidding.
Bring a pen or pencil you will need it.

Bids will be accepted by email, again as long as you have seen the items, up to 9am on the day of the sale.
